  Re: MB Droid Factory

Bruce, (...) Actually had a different concept for the shape of the building but just didn't have the time to make the changes. (...) Those white pieces came with the bins from the Jack Stone sets and that's their purpose from the outside to (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: MB Droid Factory

Dave, Finally found some use for those that came from the Droid Escape sets that came from the clearance sales. Thanks, ACPin & Sons (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Chicken Walker MOC

(...) Andrew, Everyone liked this gun design so I will have to see if I can work it into any of my up-coming MOCs. I agree whole-heartedly with you on the pics vs in-person examination of a MOC. Take Eric's Jama as a perfect example, the pics really (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Hey Jim, this was neat to see. I like the Gun design. Those parts fit together well. Keep up the good work! e www.biomechanicalbricks.com (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Chicken Walker MOC

(...) chicken-walker means, essentially it walks like a chicken. i guess the easiest way to describe it is, it has a "reverse knee".. like the human knee bends backwards (so your foot swings backward).. the chicken walker knee swings forward. The (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: MB Droid Factory

AC, Very clever. The building itself is a little too boxy for me, but I love the idea and the interior scene. Do those white pieces on the outside swing open for delivering droid parts? Putting the different parts (R2 leg, body, head) on the top of (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Chicken Walker MOC

(...) Jim, Those are very clear pics but once again seeing it in person makes a difference. Thanks for bringing him to the GardenSLUG meeting. I really love the leg construction and gun design! I look forward to more from you. -Andrew GardenSLUG (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Toyfare has new news

(...) Because the UCS sets are hugely expensive, and TLC seems to be leaning more towards iconic symbols of Star Wars for the UCS line. The TIE Fighter would have made more sense than the TIE Interceptor as far as being an iconic symbol, but the (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Toyfare has new news

(...) While I doubt any of the Trade Federation ships will see production in UCS form if none of them have even shown up in minifig scale, I very much expect we'll see more bad-guy ships. There are three more TIEs, the speederbike, the walkers, the (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Toyfare has new news

  Re: Toyfare has new news

(...) Personally, I'd like to see the Trade Federation Battleship (URL) big, round, and all greebly. Somehow I don't think we will see another bad-guy ship though. The Millenium Falcon is most likely. Greg (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) That has got to be the best use for multiple C3POs I've ever seen, not to mention the halfpipe parts. -Dave (21 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Toyfare has new news

(...) It may have had little screentime, but that is the _first_ Star Wars ship anyone ever saw in the movie theatres, and that specific scene is one of the most memorable in modern cinema. If you walked up to ten random people and showed them the (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Control Room & Straight Hallway
