Re: Episode II Products at Shop At Home

(...) It does resemble the taxi from the Fifth Element! Actually it's a Coruscant air speeder....I think... out tk (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Republic Gunship

I just finished up the Republic Gunship. Man, this has got to be the best LEGO set ever! To start you get seven minifigs plus the Destroyer Droid. On top of that this thing is HUGE! It puts the Falcon to shame... and the play factor is great. Lots (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Both sides!

(...) Fig torsoes with printing on both the front and back have been around for quite a bit. The Stormtrooper has it on both sides, and 90% of the mini-figs in the soccer sets have a number on their back. --Josh (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) To be honest the only resemblence IMHO is the color and "carish" look... /Tobbe (URL) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Both sides!

(...) LEGO has had double sided printing for quite a while now. They just don't seem to want to do it all the time. So if I were you, I would not hold my breath. :-/ Jude (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Both sides!

I just got the Tusken Raider Encounter and the Jedi Duel. I noticed that the torso of the raiders and Yoda are printed on both sides! Does this mean that all the other minifigs from now on will have double sided printing on them? This is one of the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 7133 Bounty Hunter....

Actually I want to tell you that the Episode II comic book has been released in my local Barnes and Noble in Chicago and there's a lot of interesting surprises! It costs $17.50 tax (small price for all the movie secrets, I think). Dave. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  7133 Bounty Hunter....

Just finished the two speeders. Anakin's is okay...lots of good parts. Zam Wessell's speeder, however, is surprisingly cool. The following is what the pictures don't reveal: Within the structure there are some Technic parts and rubber bands (!) that (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Slighty OT: Got the Novel!

(...) I'd long since planned for a vacation day today so I could read it as soon as it hit the stores. Finished about an hour ago. I'm pumped! John #388 (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  New Star Wars Video

Sorry to post so many times today, but it has been a wonderful day for Star Wars. The new "Love Across the Stars" music video has come out. I watched it for the first time on starwars.com (you have to be a online member to veiw any of the videos (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Ep2 sets at Meijer

Episode 2 sets have been spotted by Imperial reconnisance forces at a local Meijer here in Michigan, at 8 mile and Haggerty. Rebulic Gunship is there! Though the cheapness of the Imperial Army did not allow the scouts to bring back samples. --Kai (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  New sets at Walmart

My Walmart had all of the new sets today when I was there, including a couple of the Republic Gunships. I haven't been able to afford to buy anything yet, but looking at all of the new Episode II sets was cool. I live in western Oregon. Sincerely, (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Slighty OT: Got the Novel!

Just writing to advise that my copy of the Episode II novelisation turned up today from Amazon.co.uk. Tempted to call in sick tomorrow so I can indulge myself in some reading - but that would be naughty...wouldn't it? Regards, Andrew. (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode II Products at Shop At Home

I have very little idea what's going to be in this movie since I'm in Star Wars blackout until the movie (so that I'll enjoy it more) but I looked at the pictures of the new sets. Is that the taxi from the Fifth Element in the upper right of this (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode II Lego in UK

(...) I saw some of the new sets in a toyshop today but didn't buy any. The big gunship look really awesome, and it seems that the top part detaches while the bottom half turns into some kind of a command base thing. Not sure if this also "happens" (...)
