  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

Brian, That would be really awesome! The first thing I'll probably need that info for is an AT-AT walker... I really want to build one of those. Do you know of anyone who has posted DAT files for it? How about yours? Looks really good. Do the legs (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) Throw in a silver protocol droid, and I'm sold. Especially if it's chrome silver, not matte silver. Steve (...) A UCS Speederbike would be way cool, especially if was the same length as the UCS X-Wing. That'd be 2~3 times the scale of the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

I just got done sorting 50 of them. I love it, but there's a mighty heap of useless things after the plates and such. Maybe something good will come from fiddling with all those 200 brown banana slopes. My source had 200+ copies from a Kmart. (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) See the inventory at (URL), btw. There are about 5 pieces in this set that could be considered less than wonderful. OK, 9 pieces, if you don't care for the four 1x4 dark gray tiles printed with circuitry. So this set has about 55 brown, tan, (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

It looks great Brian, but I wish we could have gotten better pics. These were prints that we re-shot with my digital camera. Although the camera is great at shooting the original subjects, we really need a scanner for these older non-digital shots. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars Minifig Icons (was Re: Macintosh Lego Starwars Fans....)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

Brian, umm... ya, what he said.. :-) are there any examples of that type of construction saved in a cad file so I can tear it apart to see what you're talking about? Thanks! Ron (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

Ronald, The side mounted docking bay bricks were mounted to vertical standing technic beams (the ones with holes)with braces between them. The floor of the base was made sturdy by inter-connecting 3 flat plates. Brian (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) Disposable as a paper cup? I wonder what a Dixie dispenser for *those* would look like. Anyways, I could see a UCS-ish Droid Fighter, given the very good observation Matt made. However, I couldn't see it as an actual UCS set--its level of (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Brian, Wow! Umm... Wow! :-) I would really like to be able to see more detail, I’m just getting to the point where I can start building some MOCs and I can see that there is a lot for me to learn!
