Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

Here are my guesses. Seriously! I'm pretty good at this. I was able to deduct way before anyone even saw pictures that the MF would use those big saucer sections and that the AT-ST would use shifty-slidy legs. I'm good at predicting these (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) ... (...) ... (...) I agree, it's very good. I haven't played Rogue Squadron in almost a year, so I don't quite remember every detail of how the V-Wing was supposed to look, but at a glance the V-Wing is instantly recognizable. As for doing (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) There are at least three more ~$100 ships they could do from classic: the sandcrawler, the AT-AT and the blockade runner (off-scale? yes, sure, but then again, look at how off-scale the $35 shuttle is...). Possibly the sail barge too... Thing (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) The Nubian sounds cool, but the problem with chrome pieces is that the “chrome” is painted on and isn’t very durable. And all chrome? Not very likely, but a nice dream… And it would have to be chrome on the inside as well(if large enough to (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 7166 Minifig Questions

(...) There's an indication of the front of the collar, just three lines, something like: \|/ Except they come to a point, and the angled lines are fairly wide. There's also a belt. The pilot torso is actually very simple. Perhaps even subtle. Steve (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) <snip> (...) Don't forget Qui-Gon and Jar Jar... since they've been in every Episode 1 set so far ;) That said, I would really love this set... visions of various chrome pieces dance in my head. Of course it would probably end up being done in (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Reason #1 to purchase a UCS Droid Fighter: Sick amounts of brown Reason #2 to purchase a UCS Droid Fighter: See reason #1. The Technic angle sounds nifty, but the Droid Fighter is pretty ho-hum, IMO. I'd rather get my supply of brown in a (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

Funny, I was just thinking about this topic myself and logged on to post a similar question.... Assuming TLC is not pausing for a spell to wait for fresh EPII models, who would be interested in a UCS Droid Fighter? I was looking through the (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) I don't consider the chome exterior to be part of the list of "attractions". While I'd love a pile of chrome bricks, the hull of the Nubian ship is smooth and sleek, and I don't think they'd do it that way. We'd wind up with a chrome SPUD (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)
