Re: UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

(...) Great model! I saw the pictures on Brickshelf before you posted here - when I saw the thumbnails I thought it *was* the UCS X-wing. When I opened the pics and saw that it was minifig scale, my jaw just dropped. Excellent job! I look forward to (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

Re: Who else wants an AT-AT?

(...) I'm not sure that the average minifig would be six feet tall. The women should be a bit shorter than the men (they wear shoes with high heels under the dresses, most likely), let's say that their average is 5 and a half feet tall. There are (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Who else wants an AT-AT?

(...) It's certainly been suggested that there are multiple varieties-- I've heard the following things about what various AT-AT designs carry for transport: - 40 troops & 5 speeder bikes - can be outfitted to carry "more" speeder bikes - can store (...)   Re: Who else wants an AT-AT?

Here's a thought, maybe there are several different sizes of AT-AT based on purpose. A larger 80ft one that contains vehicles and a smaller 50ft version that is a people transport. Just a thought. I know the books say otherwise, but maybe the books (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Who else wants an AT-AT?

(...) A more refined guess: 80' - 96' (...) I checked snowspeeder length a bit more closely. They're about 16 feet long, +/- a foot. So revamp that guess to 60' - 68' (a little over in each case). (...) I still agree with this 60' - 93' measurement, (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Who else wants an AT-AT?

(...) Well I do agree that 50' would just seem too small. The version I made at (URL) Is slightly smaller than minifig scale and according to the stud height, it's over 50'. (And if you look at my picture, don't rag on me about the head, I know it's (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Technic C-3P0: My First Impression

(...) Can you provide a list of what parts you do get in the gold/silver color? (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

Re: Who else wants an AT-AT?

(...) Forgive me if I sound like I'm ranting about the size of the AT-AT... It's really not all THAT important-- and I'm SURE if we actually measured the models used in the movies, got the distance to camera of the filming of the little luke (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

(...) Thanks Admiral...ahem..."Grand" Admiral Sandlin! Mark Chan P.S. After several weeks, I'm still trying to assemble the parts to replicate your MotoTek Shiva (great model - looks like it belongs in Neo-Tokyo from the movie Akira). I accidently (...)
