  Re: microfig-scale SW landspeeder

Franklin, I'm not too big (no pun intended) on microfig scale models myself, but I do appreciate how difficult it is to fit so much detail into such a small model. This is a wonderful example of how it should be done, as is your microfig scale Pod (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Number of bags in UCS 7191 X-wing?

(...) I think your cat's involved :) I remember having something on the order of 20 bags in my UCS X-Wing. I was using the plastic trays from a couple of technic sets as sorters for the bags, and I had 18 bins to work with, and doubled up in a (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

<snip> Great model! Extremely detailed. I wish TLC made models like this all the time! Kevin (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

Star Wars Technic C-3PO & Stormtrooper

Well, I was at work the other night when I got a call telling me that some new sets were in. I figured that they were the system ones that I already have. For some reason I walked over there on lunch and what do I find, the 2 above sets. I put them (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

  Re: microfig-scale SW landspeeder

(...) but I'm new enough that I don't understand the purpose of the microfig scale. Could you explain it to me? Thanks in advance. Joe (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Imperial Shuttle....

(...) Jonoman, I have the Shuttle as well and yes, the wings don't fold down as far as they should. I'm satisfied as it is so I haven't figured out another way. I'll see what I can think up. Joe (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

I don't suppose you'd be willing to encode this model as a CAD data file? ;-) [duck][dodge][parry] *Sweet* model, dude. Franklin (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

  microfig-scale SW landspeeder

Hi, I've just posted a Lego-CAD data file for a micro-fig scale landspeeder ("(URL) I've also posted an image of the model at my account at the BrickShelf Gallery ("(URL) It should be about the same "scale" as my micro-fig rendition of Anakin's Pod (...)   re: Imperial Shuttle....

Hi, it's Jono- i've posted here a few times....... anyhow, i got my Imperial Shuttle yesterday, and have a question: When one folds down the "wings", they do not come down as far as they should. They tend to 'bounce" back a little. I was wondering (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

(...) <snip> (...) What a way to de-lurk! That's a truly excellent MOC of the X-Wing. Great Job! ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

  RE: Minifig X-Wing on Brickshelf

(...) Thanks! The "Top 1000 Noisemakers" thread in .people seems to indicate that I'm up there, but I think that's from having been here so long (since the pre-release version! I also remember checking www.lugnet.com rather often back when there was (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Minifig X-Wing on Brickshelf

(...) Bram, I've admired a lot of your models (as well as many other people's models on Brickshelf), so I consider any comments from the "LUGNET regulars" high praise. Thanks! I literally got my posting permission 90 minutes ago, but I've been an (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

I just posted to the Brickshelf Gallery my minifig scale version of the well known Star Wars T-65C X-Wing fighter. This design was heavily influenced by the Ultimate Collector Series 7191. It is a different challenge building details into minifig (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general) !!

  Minifig X-Wing on Brickshelf

When I saw the thumbnail in the recent gallery on Brickshelf, I almost skipped it because it looked like a picture of the UCS X-Wing. However, it turned out to be a very nice minifig scale version--with landing gear: (URL) job, Mark! (Does Mark Chan (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  The Return of 'Ask LEGO'

I've been invited out to Toy Fair this year, and LEGO has graciously agreed to do a Q&A for FBTB. I'm currently taking questions, more details onsite. Thanks and Happy New Year everyone Tim (URL) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Number of bags in UCS 7191 X-wing?

(...) Heh, sorry 'bout that Joel, but I did actually count my empty bags when I got home, I just haven't been to Online Active of late. As I said, Unless the Cat made off with some, I came up with 13 bags. You heard that right. Just over half are (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 7106, 7126, 7166

(...) Amen (to both counts... and of COURSE a 2m long Star Destroyer is microfig scale. That goes for anything macroscopic like Babylon 5, Enterprise - D or E, the Death Star, A-Rod's paycheck...). Although if/when the UCS TIE Interceptor comes down (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Number of bags in UCS 7191 X-wing?

Ok, this is a funny thread. Post after post of "if only..." :-D I ended up calling lego. They are sending me the instructions and the beige plate. They claim there are supposed to be 20 bags. So, even if I only get 21 random bags of lego for $52, I (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Battle droid parts in MOCs?

Well, by the very construction of the battle droids, nothing but the arms could really have a large use beyond the decorative. On that note, the heads might make some nice ornaments or levers. Sorry about my last comment in this topic, I was tired (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Brief AT-ST review

Of course not so canon at my heart, but Force Commander game has some very nice land vehicles for rebel forces. There is also a nice troop transport shuttle, "rusty eagle". Selçuk (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)
