I started building last night. So far I have combined two stands and various
pieces from a red lego bucket (#?) I ended up with a stand that has three
rows of normal seats plus one row of "box" seats. I also combined four white
roof pieces to create a 2x2 piece roof. So far it looks pretty cool, and I'm
planning to add four more stands to it, so that I will end up with stands
that are 4 by 12 seats. In addition, I built a concession stand in the back.
I'm not happy with the colors (too many), but I had to work with what I had.
I'll email you a picture and will post them somewhere on the web once I get
my hands on a digital camera. I will probably do some rebuilding as well, to
create more room behind the stands for more concession stands, stores,
ticket booths, first aid, etc. I'm also thinking about adding light poles on
top of the stands. That means I'll have to buy more Lego though, darn .....

PS I noticed last night that LEGO packaged the stands in two different
boxes. The printing is the same, but one box has a tape seal, the other has
the semi-circles that you punch out to open the box.

| (...) Ok, I did some major reconstruction. I tore down about half the stands and added in a third set. I ended up with 5 rows of seats plus one row of box seats. In addition, this gave me enough blocks to redo my concession stand in the back. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.sports)
