  Set 3420

Hello! This is a cool group. There's amost less traffic in here than in lugnet/loc/de. I've thought that was impossible. :-) Anyway, does anybody know this version of the set 3420? (URL) It seems as if this set contains special French (sorry: (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.sports, FTX)

  Animation & Sports group rename

Today I'm going to tackle the renaming of lugnet.publish.cinema to lugnet.animation and lugnet.football to lugnet.sports. This transformation will basically go in 4 steps: 1. First the old groups will be disabled, so that no new posts can be made. (...) (22 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.sports, lugnet.admin.nntp)

Re: Tiny spaceship with soccer balls (MOC)

(...) Nice one. Better sightline on the balls than I have in this one (URL) thinking that this design would tie-in with my Cruisters things. (URL) on DaveG PS: Not an entry to contest or anything just building along for fun. (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.sports)

Re: Tiny spaceship with soccer balls (MOC)

Very clever. I KNEW someone would come up with a way. The only trouble with football weaponry thouogh, is that you have to fire them with your feet. Allister (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.sports)

Tiny spaceship with soccer balls (MOC)

After reading the "lame parts" Space topic, I designed a 24-piece Blacktron craft that includes two soccer balls as parts of weapons. Here are some photos of it. (URL) "Space Robot Arm" pieces slide together across a bar on each side of the vehicle (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.sports)

Re: What does it take to be #1? (was Re: Pics of Football Players)

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I didn't want to sound like I was complaining, but it was my first MOC so I thought it be nice to see what people thought. I'll try to be more patient now. Thanks again for the feedback. Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 24-Oct-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.general)

Re: What does it take to be #1? (was Re: Pics of Football Players)

(...) Hi Sean, Like thanks, feedback is something which should always be given, but never expected. ROSCO (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.general)

Re: What does it take to be #1? (was Re: Pics of Football Players)

Sean, don't be put down by this. I am sure (but not positive) that I have seen this before. Firstly, some people quickly scan the groups and miss lots of stuff. Also, not having answers doesn't mean people don't like your MOC. I very rarely - I mean (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.general)

Re: What does it take to be #1? (was Re: Pics of Football Players)

(...) Hmm...it seems that smaller forums always seem to be overlooked on lugnet. Some of the newsgroups such as HP, Town, Pirates, don't get that many posts, and believe it or not, one forum, .underground hasn't had a post in months (since the last (...)   What does it take to be #1? (was Re: Pics of Football Players)

Wassssup Everyone, After having my football pics up for about 4 days and no responses I've now come to my senses to ask a question. When it comes to MOC's, What does it take to be #1? I mean, everyone works hard on their stuff, and just b/c some (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.general)

  Pics of Football Players

Wassssup Everyone, I now have pics of my football team up. The Folder (when moderated) (URL) Links (URL) kind of messed up b/c I put the subfolder for this in my RPG section, but it shouldn't matter. PLMKWYT! Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 19-Oct-02, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Technically an MOC-Football Player

Wassssup Everyone, I'm posting this again b/c I don't think enough people saw it. What I'm aiming at here is what would be something good for pads. I'm using life preservers right now (sorry-no time for pics-nor do I know how to even get them on the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.sports)

Re: Which would you rather see?

Just to answer my own question, I'd rather see football made as making teams isn't to hard. Just take the soccer people, put the yellow life preservers (closest thing lego makes to pads) and a helmet with no visor, and ta daa! You have yourself a (...)   Re: Which would you rather see?

hockey seems like it would be the easiest to do. they could use the soccer parts and make them in white. wrestling would be kinda tacky, although I'd love to see the minifig designs -tk "Sean Devolites" <hotshot3396@hotmail.com> wrote in message (...)   Re: Which would you rather see?

(...) Wasss...sssup Kevin, While your probably right, there still is a chance. (They made guns for the Wild West, Ninja, and such, so I don't think rough sports should be to bad) Of course, you never know these days. Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.sports)

Re: Which would you rather see?

I would like the LEGO to make a hockey theme though I know that LEGO would prolly not make any sports that associate with violence, so I doubt we will ever see wrestling, hockey, American football nor rugby. Kevin "Sean Devolites" (...) (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.sports)
