Coooool. Personally, I like the compactness of the Sauron, with the triple engine cluster. Reminds me of a Cylon Raider. Very nice. The Mandrill has some good solutions using the ThrowBots pieces. Check out the "Stargeist" in the U.E.S.F. starfighters section, the "Banshee" and the "Helios" in the new Venusian Colonial Fighters section, and the "Sauron" in the Vedraan Starfighters section. Those assault walkers are real sweet, I especially like how you've put those horrible Aquazone cockpits to really good use, also in the civilian flyers. Nice work! I like how your mecha all seem to be very no-nonsense and technical-looking. The ThrowBots parts also add greatly to the poseability. I like the shoulder cannon :^) I'm going to have to get cracking on a new mecha. Dave Jr. has got me interested in (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) ...Whoa... those arthropods are cool! :-) I like the use of the 3 blade rotor thingie as the basis for the teirachnid! They are part of aquanauts I think. I noticed his pictures have a "whiting out" effect (sorry can't think of the right word). The parts are actually a blue chrome. I think that technically, those parts are from "Hydronauts"; I have several, and they're the same part as the Launch Command/Space Port astronaut helmet/backpacks, just in blue chrome. They are SOOOO cool looking. *smile* -Cheese PS: Matthew, I (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.space)
