(...) :-) You should try it more often! (...) found the BURP in fig. 8! Very clever :-) And I like the 6x5 (or whatever) inverted poops you used. The retractable awning and the descriptions gave me a chuckle, and so did the "I Dont Know What This (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Varied Terrain Vehicle —Duane Hess
(...) Nice vehicle. You have a lot of nice little details that I will have to look at and absorb. I especially like how you used the 6 x 5 inverted trans-blue slope. (WOW How's that for descriptive?) I have a project where I was contemplating doing (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Speaking of spam, I've been at www.spamcake.com ;-) (...) Absorb away! Actually, there aren't really that many details.. it just *looks* like there's a lot (which is sometimes all you need :) (...) Oh yes, please do. Those are such nice pieces (...)      Whoa, that's pretty slick! I like the way you built it so you could reveal the interior from the side instead of above. Lot's of cool details inside and good use of pieces/colors. Very original, I dig it! Dan (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Varied Terrain Vehicle —Tom McDonald
(...) I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! :) Originally, I was going to try and hinge the thing to make it really easy to open, but I had to use pins because the back slopes inward. The back seems to be the only good place to put hinges. I think also (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Varied Terrain Vehicle —Daniel Jassim
(...) Heh heh! You may rise, my dear fellow, rise. (...) Yeah, it looks pretty solid and very realistic. I like the fact that you considered playability too! :) I'm always "whooshing" stuff around, looking at it from all angles and making sound (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Varied Terrain Vehicle —Tom McDonald
(...) Thanks Zac. For some reason, I like the look of those wheels but I wish they were rubber. Originally I wasn't crazy about them in black when I saw them in Rock Raiders. I think I may have another vehicle in mind that I want to make using those (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Varied Terrain Vehicle —Zac Soden
(...) I agree, they do look a lot better in grey. I only saw a Rock Raiders set with the wheels yesterday (a kid on the bus had one and, being the Lego freak I am, had to show him how to make one of the alternate models on the back. I sure showed (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)
