They both seem to be similar themes, based around exploration. M:Tron
towards mining, and Ice Planet towards establishing a colony on an
arctic planet.
Ice Planet has large missiles that could be converted into interplanetary
ballistic missiles to wipe out M:tron bases, so, based purely on what
the sets give us, I'd give them the edge. Plus, the Deep Freeze Defender
looks rather militaristic (and the name is as well - it's a "defender"),
whereas the M:Tron sets seem to be oriented purely around exploration
and mining. Their craft bristle with sensor arrays.
The Ice Planet guys would wax the M:tron bases and large exploratory
vehicles (the Magnetizer) with their missiles, but the M:tron fleet
has many ships on deep space missions that couldn't immediately
be found, and when they found out what Ice Planet had done, they
would seek their revenge ....

| (...) .......I think M:Tron would win because of this reason...THEY GOT MAGNETS & SO DO THE MISSLES OF THE ICEPLANET DUDES......think about it.....one of there little ships with a magnet on the back (vector detector) could fly up & capture the (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)
