    Unfinished Dropship —Mladen Pejic
(URL) I started this MOC back in August and stopped working on it by early September due to school. Unfortunately, I lost interest in completing it, and have to disassemble it for a new project I am planning for the winter break. A few notes about (...)      Hi Mladen, --SNIP-- It's a pity you didn't have time to finish it since the model looks pretty damn good as is and I'm sure would have looked great when done. (...) I like this trick a lot. I wonder if the skeleton arm could be used for other (...) (19 years ago, 18-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: Unfinished Dropship —Mladen Pejic
(...) Thanks Tim! (...) Yeah, it has tons of other uses. You can fit a 1x1 cylinder onto one end and get a nice small joint out of it. This is useful for mecha construction and micro-fig work. This isn't the best example, but it's still something: (...) (19 years ago, 18-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Woah, that joint technique looks pretty sweet, Mladen. I never thought of that. I'll be using that somewhere, I'm sure. Trev (19 years ago, 18-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: Unfinished Dropship —Kyle Vrieze
(...) I'm sorry this didn't make it to completion, but glad you posted it. A dropship needs a big squarish interior to hold the APCs or mechs or whatever, but a big squarish interior leads to a big ugly box of an exterior. I like how you used your (...)          Re: Unfinished Dropship —Mladen Pejic
(...) Thanks Kyle! Yes, doing a whole ship in SNOT helps get rid of boxiness. I still want to experiment with other geometric shapes. I think even a pentagon cross-section would work for a dropship... Just thinking about it gives me ideas about (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: Unfinished Dropship —Dave Johann
(...) I'm happy to see this, Mladen. Sad to see that it will never see completion, but happy to see the model itself. It's nice to see builders who scrap creations at the '80% done level' simply because I do the same thing. (...) An excellent use of (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: Unfinished Dropship —Mladen Pejic
(...) Heh. Thanks Dave. I didn't know other builders scrapped projects so far down the line. It's really hard to let go sometimes, especially when you've committed so much time and energy. (...) Thanks. It's really too bad LEGO doesn't produce (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
