I started this MOC back in August and stopped working on it by early
September due to school. Unfortunately, I lost interest in completing it,
and have to disassemble it for a new project I am planning for the winter
break.

Im happy to see this, Mladen. Sad to see that it will never see completion,
but happy to see the model itself. Its nice to see builders who scrap
creations at the 80% done level simply because I do the same thing.

Heh. Thanks Dave.
I didnt know other builders scrapped projects so far down the line. Its really
hard to let go sometimes, especially when youve committed so much time and
energy.

Aside from the overall SNOT construction, I discovered an interesting
new
use for part 30535.
|
An excellent use of that part! I also enjoyed the orientation of that part on
the model itself.

Thanks. Its really too bad LEGO doesnt produce really large ball and socket
joint. I know there are ball & socket parts that came in some of those Episode 2
sets, but I never acquired any, and they were pretty limited in colours.

Dont be surprised if this inspires my own build. Now that Im close to
completely sorted, I am itching to unleash the creative juices on a few new
models in 2006. :)
|
Awesome!
Once Im sorted as well, I will be all GO GO GO! :-D
