Well, enough description, have a look at the pictures (please excuse the poor picture quality/lighting..). Enjoy! Feedback appreciated.

Warm regards from Switzerland Thomas

No need to apologize for the photos, I thought the quality was quite good. I like your color scheme, and the overall ion cannon construction, specifically the rocket fin piece pinned in reverse to the 4X4 round brick, the reversed chrome dish at the “business end”, and the wheel-well parts on the sides.

I like the angling you did in tapering the nose and on the engine outlet, but I would have liked to see more non-right angles, such as a slight declining angle in the ion cannon, or a downward droop to the side-mounted pylons.

I’ve appreciated past examples of using boat hulls in space MOCs, but in this case I don’t really care for it--I think they still look like boats. I think some combination of slopes would have worked better for the pylons.

These are just minor suggestions, overall I really enjoyed this fighter, and I hope you keep posting your future MOCs here, because I’d like to have a look!

Hi there Here's something a built recently: The heavy ion cannon fighter. The ship was somehow inspired by the work of John Douglass. You can find his ion cannon frigate "Feng Zhu" here: (URL) ship is more or less in micro-scale 1:35 (see the pilot (...) (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.space)
