Memo to all the .space-lurkers out there....if you are hesitant to post because
you think your moc will not get any attention, just attach J.C. to the hull and
watch the responses flood in. Youll get the people who are offended, people
who will in turn defend your right to be offensive, people who critique the
reviews of reviews of your moc(David Simmons), and so on.
And now for a critique of the moc iself. I have to say that I love the stigmata
running lights, that was good for a chuckle...but thats about where it ends.
The Calvinist design esthetic...well I guess it is justified by your faith, but
its kind of boring. Maybe if the vertical part of the cruciform was longer it
might look better. Oh, and those super-ultra-turbo-lasers?...come on, the
savior deserves some better cannons!
The larger question seems to be not is this moc offensive? but rather...why
is it a starfighter? Wasnt J.C. the prince of peace? Shouldnt this be some
kind of disaster-relief ship or med-ship? Then again, maybe Christ always
wanted to be a fighter pilot.
Way to stir things up Richie, cool moc.
