At long last, the INRI Deep Space Starfighter arrives:

The front of the INRI, showing the exended landing gear, maxi-view bubble canopy and the twin mega-super-turbo lasers.

It is square, but it is solid. Composite titanium/ceramic armour provides the INRI with a shroud of protection.

   Swooping into attack.

   Here’s the whole fighter.

Rival starfighter builder, Calvin Industries, has modified the INRI design to conform to their own specifications. Note the deletion of the external systems, and the removal of the INRI branding.

An interesting side-effect of the INRI’s unusual design is it’s complete immunity to Space Vampire attacks.

Cheers

Richie Dulin

(...) First of all, being a Christian, I do object to the design. However, as a critique of the model, the structure is not very interesting. Your method of building requires virtually no SNOT at all. Most of it is in standard studs up configuration (...) (20 years ago, 2-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

The initial idea when I built the Rapier was to have a basically cross-shaped fighter, but there's more to it than that. A cathedral is cross shaped, but it's not (...) Memo to all the .space-lurkers out there....if you are hesitant to post because you think your moc will not get any attention, just attach J.C. to the hull and watch the responses flood in. You'll get the people who are offended, people who will in (...) (20 years ago, 3-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) "Shroud" of protection. Heh-heh! I wonder how it would fare against the Star of David ship from History of the World, Part I? (20 years ago, 3-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
