Hi, I've finally gotten some pictures of my space ship. It's not close to being done and there's much more detail to show. The ship is about 5 feet long will be 3.5 feet wide when the wings are built. What you'll see is the basic hull, bridge and (...) (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.space) !

Wow! A big spaceship! I want to make a big spaceship too... Well, since I've built a town, guess the next thing I'll build is a giant spaceship... and thanks to bulk ordering, I can build it in gray. On to you model now... The birdge looks good, and (...) (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

Hi Chris! (...) Nice. It looks like you've done some significant re-design since the move. If I recall, you said that the ship didn't survive the move too well, did any components survive, or is this a ground up re-build? It looks like you have more (...) (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Yeah, it kinda bothered me that I can't get bulk blue from LEGO. I guess i'll have to keep ebaying it. (...) There should now be an interior shot of the bridge at the site: (URL) a small description of what you'll see. The Captain's chair ala (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

Very nice! Terrific design and colour for such a large ship--mine will only be half that size when done. I really like the enormous shuttle bay and your idea of using a space baseplate for it. Did you find a good way to secure it, given the odd (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Chris, I totally agree with this. I personally love large space ships. (URL) can see some of mine here if you like. You are the first person I know of besides me that built a ship almost entirely one color on the outside. I like the design. (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) oof. That would be a chore. I've quickly counted and the ship is 230 - 240 "bumps" long. That's 7 baseplates +. I wonder how big of an instruction book that would be. :-) Chris <>< (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)
