    ci maximum —Philip Painter
The ci maximum. (URL) The ci maximum is ci racing's GT1 class aircar. It goes really fast. Inspiration for the shape was the Toyota Supra Esso Ultraflow. Thanks to everyone who encouraged and/or threatened me to finish this. I'm really happy with (...) (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

(...) Now is this thing street legal? Just how tricked out is it? I really like the opening hood and canopy, but my favorite part is the exhaust. This just might motivate me to do some more future city vehicles. Jamie (URL) (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: ci maximum —Jean-Pascal Rignault
This is perfect! I love the color scheme, though I guess it doesn't help for taking pictures. The front part looks so much like what I had in mind for this week-end building... it's really surprising! When I saw the first pics I didn't expect to see (...)      (...) That's extremely sleek and sexy-looking. And has a great colour scheme. My two favourite things in a MOC, really. And I dig the docking holes in the front - are they for refueling, or the tow-truck? :-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Bananas are best when they're just a bit green at the ends. My Brasso is hidden in a box somewhere. The phone company dug a hole in front of my apartment. And your racer is quite yummy. In particular, I'm lovin the color scheme and the usage (...) (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: ci maximum —Philip Painter
Thanks for the responses, all! Jamie: The ci maximum is about as far from street legal as an aircar can be. But who's going to be able catch you to tell you that? Jean-Pascal: Thanks! I'm always happy to hear something I built can inspire, (...) (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: ci maximum —Steven Coallier
(...) Exxxcellent. And, a good reminder that I need to post the competitive air racer that I built - the AC Asp! .Steve "Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway!" (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: ci maximum —Tony Hafner
(...) Very nice looking racer, and nice SNOT work. I may take some specific design elements from this for a racer in my series. I try to put landing gear on all my racers and other functions, but I've never done an engine compartment like that- (...) (20 years ago, 30-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: ci maximum —Philip Painter
Steven: Thanks for the response. I'm glad you like it! Tony: Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you like the design. No, I don't have a shot of the underside—it's pretty uninteresting so I didn't take one. But the engine compartment is only open in (...) (20 years ago, 30-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: ci maximum —Tony Hafner
(...) Fair enough. Depending on the race format, this could certainly be true. (And I want to see pics of your bodybuilder midgets.) (...) Someone is a bit touchy today. Hm, building for fun? For your own enjoyment? Not to fulfill others' (...) (20 years ago, 1-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
