Spacers,
You may have noticed capital class ships from the Eastern Block and 3vil, well
so have we. To combat these larger ships and the havoc they can cause, I want
to introduce you to the Strategic Missle Anti Capital heavy fighter.
The configuration in these release photos have 4 hull piercing TARDs (Torpedo:
Advanced Radioactive Dynamic), 2 pods of HAMs (Heat Aquiring Missles) and 5 FRAP
cannons (2 rapid fire Fraps on the front cowl).
This craft is basically a SLAM sitting on a huge power plant to power its warp
drive and weapon systems. Much of the cockpit configuration and flight controls
are similiar to the SLAM but it has more advanced targeting systems. While not
as nimble as a SLAM, in a battle it can endure as much damage as it can inflict
and still take the pilot home at the end of the day. (think A-10 of space)
Shes made to take out cap ships and defend fleet craft like Vanguard and
Tribunal. You dont want to see a SMAC PAC flying towards your ship in the
midst of battle. Sneak peek:

I do hope you review the technical photos after they go through final inspection
and reply soon. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=98408

| (...) Your idle threats against the Eastern Block were what demanded the deployment of the Korolev and it's sister ships to the forward lines. Your supply of missiles and torpedos are no match for the point defense systems of the Eastern Block. For (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| Simply beautiful! It's at moments like these during this epic galactic war that it becomes really hard to decide who to become allied with. Thanks for another PCS Classic. Chris (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) ... snipped ... (...) Grand Admiral, An outrageously cool design! Any chance of you making building instructions for this model available like you did on the smaller PCS SLAM fighters...? Greetz, Anton (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) I love this. Wonderful application of gray, wonderful use of highlight colour, wonderful use of slopes especially around the cockpit. And a very, very sexy design to top it all off. The only thing (after all, no MOC is perfect) is that (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Like, WOW Scoob. Basically all the points that have been covered here echoed, but a few smaller points are really marvvy too...namely the 'drive shaft' underneath, and the inset control panel in the cockpit. It's the smaller flourishes that (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Holy !@#!$&#$@ Chris. Very nice. Always amazing to see MOCs without studs showing. What are those parts in front of the torpedoes? I really like it. I probably would have put the cockpit inside more, towards the middle and the side wings (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) No great surprise that Admiral Giddens has churned out yet another awesome MOC chock full of PCS goodness, smothered in SNOT. And you're cunning use of acronyms always makes me smile. Keep up the good work! I have to say though, now I REALLY (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Easily one of the best color schemes I've ever seen. That, plus just the right amount of newer curved/sloped bricks, makes this an instant classic. In fact, this is exactly the type of ship that LEGO should use for a space My Own Creation (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| It's so cool, I love it. But Comrade, don't you think there might be an underlying Eastern Block inspiration? After all, here's the the PCS S.M.A.C: (URL) and here's a propaganda image of the People's Own Farm Machinery from a captured Eastern Block (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Chris, that really is a beautiful model. It saddens me though that a group that started out so innocently, devoting themselves to peaceful exploration of the galaxy and scientific discovery (eg. Hoplab), has been reduced to producing machines (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Wow. That is the coolest starfighter ever. I'm seeing some evolution in the design of MOCs going on. Well, kinda anyways. The latest generation of starfighters and large ships has changed much since the original days, much to the delight of us (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

On a side note, I hope you are able to post some more pics of your recent additions to the Star Rangers theme sometime - they're looking pretty slick. Anyway, congrats on a (...) | A late review, but this is another fantastic entry in the PCS moc hall of fame. Congrats for continually outdoing yourself and providing the rest of us with a bar to aim for. I'm impressed how closely you adhered to the concept art and still kept it (...) (20 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
