Re: contrary to popular belief. . .

(...) With the flogging I get for every post, it's a wonder why I still build. Thanks for the comments, Paul. I'm glad you like it. And you're right—if I did it over again, I'd rig some sort display inside the hatch. As usual, the cockpit was the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: The Sundart

(...) Very nice. Not sure about the lack of detail on some areas like the cockpit front or the "nose" area though. I think gray greebles in the white "painted" area would have looked slightly better, maybe. That underside SNOT is awesome, though! (...)   Re: A Star1337 Enterprise: Comm Module

(...) ... (...) I like that antenna design, especially how you've used the pickaxes to complete the curve. Do you have any other modules built yet? I'm interested in how modular the design is. Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Inquisition MOC: Crusader hardsuit

(...) It gives a very strong impression of a knight from the crusades! Well done. It's nice to know that armour piece can be safely Brassoed, too. (...) Definitely! These guys are everything the Necromongers should have been, if you get my drift. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Æ Bastet Starfighter

Re: Shuttles for sale for all walks of life!

(...) Not a bad idea, but I was expecting the sale yard to have some fences and an office, at least. Good idea though. I hope you can supply enough shuttles - there are a heck of a lot of shoppers walking around there :-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) It might be a bit more stable due to its smaller stature but probably not much. BTW, athough I have'nt bought the Titan XP, from looking at the pics that I've seen so far, it likely owes what stability it has to the built-in "limiters" behind (...)   Re: contrary to popular belief. . .

(...) Yes, but do you still have a Lego-related website? Cerebrum Inc. seems to have become yet another videogame site... (...) ... (...) Nice guns. Wow, I didn't even realise it had a pilot at first! Cool. My preference would be for a flight (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Victory-Class Corvette

(...) Well, really-well-designed...d-modelled boxes aren't really my thing (I preferred the Vanguard), but I can see you've put a lot of effort into this one. Well done! Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Starcraft Protoss MOC

(...) Yeah, I noticed that, but as you said, it would require redesigning the arms entirely. and that would not be pleasant, that's for sure. However, you should have a look at some of the power suits that Space & Mecha seem to produce, you might (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Hey, that's a clean design. I like your use of the new joints; I wonder, though, how stable it is. I bought the Titan XP and built the main mecha; it is way too large for those joints, IMO. Your mecha is a little smaller, and not so bulky. I (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Starcraft Protoss MOC

Thanks for all of the comments. Travis: Using a 4L rod with whatever sort of mounting apparatus was my first idea as well, but the problem is finding a way to get it on. Look at the picture: theres noplace to mount it except the hand, and well, it's (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: dear lego, please release instructions for set 1526

(...) No, that's just big for the sake of it. And it's a horrible mash of the '79 blue/grey/trans-yellow and the '82 blue/white/trans-dark-blue stylings. This was the theme in its worst death throes. (...) I'm sure they have many happy memories of (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks, Kyle. In the next day or so, I'll add pics that shed more light on the hand, foot, ankle, gun, and saber designs. (...) I liked how Gil answered everything in one post for the Skyhawk so I shall do the same. Avery: I'm glad it pulls off the Star Wars style. Thanks for the medal. I will wear it with pride:).   Re: Starcraft Protoss MOC

(...) Honor Guide Me! I think you have an excellent Templar/Zealot on the way there, You could try a 1x1 tile with clip and a 4L trans lt blue bar for the warp blades, maybe? I have to say though, the Legs are really well done, and given the fact (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) <Starcraft Geek Mode On> That's Aiur <Starcraft Geek Mode Off> Now, to talk about the MOC. It doesn't really give me the feeling of a Protoss unit, but as a small bot/mech, it's nifty. Adrian (21 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)
