  New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

A Jade Empire escort frigate. It's approximately 40 studs long, my largest ship to date, and uses SNOT techniques and a few new designs for JE. Comments, criticisms, and smack talk are much appreciated. (URL) McNamee (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space) !

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

ha that flimsy ship doesnt stand a chance to an Eastern Block ship, the Korolev would swat it like a fly. But by the looks of it, that thing can be pesky and annoying like a fly. Good thing you get our secondhand trash for your army and we run your (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) The Korolev? Threatening me with imaginary ships? Low. Secondhand trash? Sure, whatever, we use only the most modern technology, not like you EB boys, who have to dig through the trash. (...) The katanas and ramp came as inspiration about 2 in (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Good look you have going there, far better than most of your previous models! I dig the fanned out katanas and the green dino tails (I didn't know they existed). Spiffy work. -Joseph (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

Welcome to the Jade Empire, peng you (friend.) Before I give feedback on your ship, I'm going to wail on you for your pics. IMO they are much too large, and make viewing the moc very difficult. Maybe you could scale them down a little bit? :) Any (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Imaginary, hardly. Expect it's completion within a week. And yby modern you mean state of the art -25 years, right ;) (2 URLs) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

(...) I dunno about whether its Jade-ish or not, but its still a cool moc anyways. The color scheme looks really cool, and the tails around the engine are really ingenious. The inside looks nice too- studless and all- and I love the chair idea. Must (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) Yes I know, they are huge. My photoediting program is just a trial run so far, and it doesn't let me make images smaller. Curses. (...) I saw the new creation in your folder, it looks awesome, I was beginning to wonder when some ground forces (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Copy away! It would be an honor! (...) There's a space problem unfortunately, that is, lack of it. Otherwise I definitely would have. The JE are tough, they can hold it. (...) If only I knew how, I would have. I'll definitely work on it. Tiles (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) I mean state of the art...meh...whatever...I'm sure the Korolev will kick butt. I look forward to its completion. Cmac (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

(...) When I first saw this ship, i thought it was CJB (Classic Jade Block), some kind of U.N. of the stars perhaps. Or maybe it was some kind of chameleon-ship caught mid-transformation. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was the latest, and (...) (20 years ago, 21-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

(...) I thought so too, thanks! (...) The katanas are my favorite parts. I found the green and dark gray dino tails on Bricklink. I didn't have any sand green parts, so I did the next best thing. Thanks for you comments! Cmac (20 years ago, 22-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

(...) Next best thing? What are you talking about? Regular green and classic dark grey are the only colors for JE. -Joseph (20 years ago, 22-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

(...) I thought that the standard for JE mocs was sand green and dark gray/light gray. I'm glad you liked it, I liked the color scheme as well. And there ain't an ounce of stinkin' blay on this bad boy. Cmac (20 years ago, 22-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

Hi Chris, Nice ship! While Ryan finds it a little bit too PCS, I think that's a good point. I remember seing the first Eastern Block ship, it was using the same canopy I think. I guess it was from Admiral Giddens himself. Let's get to the point : (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) (URL) . Way back then, it was just PCS and EB - and since both were supposedly coexisting in the same Pre-Classic era, I used many PCS design elements when making EB. Since then, EB has taken a life of its own. Your design seems to follow that (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

Thanks, I did do a lot of examination on EB and PCS ships, because they were the only shuttle size ships available, and they follow the current Lugnet trend. I figured that a larger JE ship may have to look like that, kind of a developmental (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New JE MOC: Yu-Huang

(...) I looked a lot at the Vukota, and November, and actually all of your designs. I should give you more credit, you were the biggest inspiration. (...) Wow...cool! (...) My thoughts exactly. (...) Thanks for the review! Cmac (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)
