(...) Circle gets the square! I actually learned this tidbit from going back and trying to build this set again, only to realize that I COULDN'T using the new pieces! To the best of my knowledge, this is the only set whose functionality is inhibited (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.space)

Just reflecting on pieces that have changed throughout the years... What classic space set is no longer functional when made out of all newer (post 1990) pieces? Hints below... (to people that may know more about this than I-- are there any others?) (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.space)
