Re: B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

(...) OK, I have a comment on the model, a comment on your comment, and a comment on the website =) The comment on the model: Awesome. You really managed to capture the look of the original SHARC, to an amazing degree. In some ways I like it better (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: 2 MOCs in one post (also) (what a day!)

Hi JP, The Personal Rocket has a refreshing simplicity to it. It kind of reminds me of Dr Strangelove. The POD looks like a high performance update of the Isetta and is a great use of those engines. I like what you did with the canopy too. Nice (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

(...) I personally think it a great idea. I also completely agree with turning the S.H.A.R.C. from a submarine to a spaceship as its aesthetics are more aligned to a shuttle craft of some sort. And Kudos to you to making the whole darn thing out of (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New canopies - Lego Alpha Team

The new canopies? I am eating them up with a side of light blue. The first time I saw those, I knew exactly where I would use them. Can't say right now as it is in the works for the Starship gaming on: www.valyance.com/starship but I will say that (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: New canopies - Lego Alpha Team

"Tyler Walles" <LEGOBOY1486@HOTMAIL.COM> wrote in message news:I08tpM.FzK@lugnet.com... (...) I could see uses for that part, especially if the cockpit was released in more colors. Now if the canopy didn't have that weird red thing, you could line (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: New canopies - Lego Alpha Team

(...) I plan to buy some on BrickLink and use Braso on the painting to remove it. I think the canopy is nice, I'll be using it for sure, but there are better ones already available. Terry (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: New canopies - Lego Alpha Team

(...) I recently purchesed the plane and spider one I think that the canopys are okay but they don't have to much function, I tried to uses that canopy in a new fighter/transport that I am building but no matter how hard I try it just doesn't look (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: New Awesome MOCs from Der Krackhed himself

(...) Right on all around Lenny! All all shuper, but the cabriolet has to be the pick of the bunch. Amazing SNOTting on of the bottom so you can get the grill tiles to face down...too cool. That aircar platform is going to be a blast too...can't (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

Re: New MOCs- Mastiff and Quadrachnid 4.0

Hey Lenny, I love the Cabriolet. The rearview mirrors are awesome! Jon (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) The modularity in the baby is too cool for words. The only drawback is that if this were ever released as a set, it would inspire a whole generation of children to grow up to be garbagemen! -nk (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: tardy civilian MOC contest entry: Black Rhino

(...) Cool! As a former heavy-equipment operator, I think you absolutley nailed the bed/canopy as well as the large rubber tires. I also really like the detailed chamber in the truck body; great for maintenance on mining equipment! Does this rig (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

  B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

Greetings! Okay...finally we have a Joe model that is actually more space than military! That adorable, impossible craft from youth, the S.H.A.R.C. : (URL) Let us know what you think! Cheers, -The BIJoe team PS. The page is a test alpha for a site (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX) !

  Re: Ministry Of Information Retrieval

(...) The smack just adds to it. I'm about half way down, marveling at the scale & the scene, the kitty attack, the requisite drowning hoo--- Oh. No. You. DIIIIIIN'T. (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Awesome MOCs from Der Krackhed himself

(...) Dig the tower - I have a couple of vehicles I'd to park there if the price is right. I REALLY like the Beetle; the curves really create the shape. The only thing missing is the flower-pot thingy in the dash - but EB probably has enough crop (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Gil, This is stunning. The inspirational value alone is great. I had reached a dead end on my entry for this and never finished it, but there are so many great ideas here that I have to go back and work some more on it now. Playability is one (...)   New canopies - Lego Alpha Team

Have you guys seen the new canopies coming with the new Alpha Team sets? Just spotted them at Toys R Us yesterday. They oval in shape but integrated into some opaque plastic sides, with a red tint in the center. What do you all think of them? -billp (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

(...) Yeah - I'm thinkn' hover plows, bailers, rakes, corn choppers, etc. How about hover combines and harvesters? And then maybe some exotic implements for alien crops? -billp (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: tardy civilian MOC contest entry: Black Rhino

Nice MOC - with all of the hover MOCs, its nice to see some wheels now and then. Is digging equipment in the future? The energy requirements for moving dirt on moons the size of Earth's moon must be less, at least for the lifting of the dirt anyway. (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
