This was built in a very similar style as the Irezumi JE fighter. I used the
castle window frames in my Chimera as intakes, and really liked the look.
But I wanted to take it farther. This craft started in two places: the nose
and the engine design. Eventually I filled in the space in the middle.

Awesome...what an amazing shape. I love how the fins on the back mirror the
flared shape of the front intakes. And again, that canopy is a a joy and works
so well here with the curves. It sounds crazy, but one of things I look most
forward to on your MOCs is the landing gear. Somehow you make them both
functional and practically hidden when stowed. Total skool for me. Great build.

| (...) Thanks G. I actually hadn't noticed how the fins and the front intakes were so similar, but now I see it. I knew there was a reason the shape was pleasing to me. :-) Like I told Lenny, Palmer's K and T wings inspired that particular landing (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
