  Re: Small, Red and Fast.

Thanks Steve, (...) Keep it smooth! (...) I'll try to remove the orange, see if it looks better. But I like these small color drops, I think it's more eye-catching. JP. (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  another poll

Along the lines of the "favorite part" poll. What is your favorite computer/control panel? For me, its so hard to decide but I guess the Ice Planet 2 x 2 printed slope: (URL) part, I own a fair number of them :) It is not possible to have too many (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Small, Red and Fast.

Thanks Douglas! I think most of the parts used in this one come from the Air Balzers set : the archer windows, but also the canopy and the 2x6x1 red slopes. "schleim building"??? I saw that schleim word before, without understanding it. Any meaning? (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Space Stations

Hello! I am currently building a micro-scale space station. I wanted to see what has gone before me. These are what I've found so far: (URL) (and numbers 2+3) (URL) am building more of a near-future type station, but any designs are welcome : ). (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Small, Red and Fast.

(...) I like it. Looks like a cool hover racer or luxo-sports car. Kinda looks like muscle car-ish and ferrari-ish at the same time. I like the schleim building and the use of the arched window pieces. Front end looks a bit flat though, but that (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Small, Red and Fast.

(...) That's cool, nice smooth lines. I like how the landing gear when retracted is completely out of the way. That's one thing I completely stink at, is landing gear. (2 URLs) Only nitpick would be to get rid of the orange. --(URL) SteveR> (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Small, Red and Fast.

(...) D'oh!! I didn't see that before. Those put mine to shame actually ;) Sorry that I didn't catch that! (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: HoverTrike?

(...) Just FYI, I posted something similiar a couple weeks ago. Although I used the front end as well. :D (URL) I like yours, very chopperish. Nice! --(URL) SteveR> (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  HoverTrike?

Greetings all! I post occaisionally in .mecha, but this is my first time in .space. I bring the my HoverTrike. While it isn't truly a trike, it uses the minifig trike back end, which i had though was useless until now. This hoverbike is a very basic (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) Bohrok eye, easily. It's one of the most unusual and visually interesting accent pieces, and it's the easiest piece to use to make sure that each and every creation still incorporates at least one BIONICLE piece. (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Wait a sec... WHOSE Q-wing?!? (was: A very special floating head christmas)

(...) I don't know why, but I have a crystal-clear image in my head of Jon bursting into tears and throwing things. Especially with his elbow real close to his body during the throw. Tears & flailing wildly. Pure. Palmer. -nk (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Wait a sec... WHOSE Q-wing?!? (was: A very special floating head christmas)

(...) Dude, the Q is totally mine. Jon said so. Quote from Jon at NWBrickCon 2002 as he held up the Q-wing (just about the first thing Jon said to me when we met in person): "Hey, Tony- I was fantasizing about you when I made this- each grey brick (...)   Re: New MOC: Pretoria Class Carrier

(...) snip It's quite impressive that you managed to put together a ship this large, and that it can hold itself together. You deffinately have the engineering skills down that will allow you to build some complex large ships. It's very boxy, (...) (...) That seems like it's the way it should be. You would expect a craft like this to be bare-bones, it's not like it's a long-range craft or anything. It's not as if crane or forklift cabs are luxurious either. -Dan Rubin (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)
