  Re: Crimson Skies MOC: Berserker

(...) Even though you've shown me preview pics, it *still* took me a minute or two to figure out which way was the front. Awesome. :P --(URL) SteveR> (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Crimson Skies MOC: Berserker

When the United States collapsed it took much of the new highway system with it. Pacific Northwest based Kenworth adapted to the change and abandoned truck building for planes. (URL) Along with Boeing Syndicate, Kenworth grew to be one of the main (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.general, lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Re: Moontruck

(...) One significant compatibility problem that I see right away is that the Moonway ramp sections rise in 4-brick increments, which means you'd have to string five ramps together to match the 10-brick floor increment of the Moonbase standard (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: I'm back (with new MOCs)

(...) Yeah, I shot them inside at night and the "Alexandria" pics in particular suffered for it, but I did'nt feel too bad about the Puma. (...) I considered that, but I felt that most viewers could figure it out. I may add that later. Thanks (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Geonosian Droid Machinery

The Geonosian droid machinery inside the stalagmite city becomes a maze that the foursome has stumbled upon. Padme makes her way across the stamping machines and welders with Anakin on her trail as he fights off the creatures. C3-PO falls on the (...)   Re: Desolator - Space Fighter

(...) Woah! Really shocking and nice. Very creative model- the use of chrome is very cool, (wish I had chrome) and the bionicle parts used in the back is unique. I like it. Really swift and deadly-looking. Only thing I don't like is the area around (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: FEE - Saisonal MOC

(...) Hey, neat stuff! I love these little MOCs. Very creative, nice stuff there. The OiZo is a neat little craft- I love the double bubble cockpit and the wings. It looks really sleek and fast, like a small racer. The landing gear is cool, too- (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

(...) Woah, there. Its possible- I've missed many great MOCs posted here that seem to be buried quickly by other threads. Oh, and brownie points to you for the 'one of my favorite builders' part, too! ;) (...) Thanks! You working on anything? Let's (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: I'm back (with new MOCs)

(...) Hey, some interesting stuff there. The Alexandria looks like its part, with its unique double-hulled design. The bridge is cool, it reminds me of those on those old battleships. All the weapons are nice, too- I like the use of the ball and (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

Re: Is it just me, or...

(...) Good to hear it. And its never too late to work on your photography! I'm still trying things out now... I'm trying out a new setup using some white posterboard (don't use the shiny side) and a new external flash bounced of the ceiling, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: P-38 contest update today

(...) And there it is. You guys have 2 weeks left. I'm thinking about award(s) right now. I'm thinking we should have maybe first-second-third place because this contest is so big. (URL) [ j o n ] (URL) zemi.net> (URL) moonbase> (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

(...) All your points taken! Yeah, the wings do look a little plain. Maybe its time for me to start dabbling with sticckers. I could make a few Outer Rim logos or something... interesting idea. (...) Thanks! (URL) >> (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

I know that this thread is a month old... but I hate not responding to responses and now I have time to do it. (...) Thanks, Sylvia! Yeah, Phil Painter's (what happened to him, anyway?) stuff was pretty inspiring. Thanks for your critique on the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Is it just me, or...

(...) Yeah, that's true- quality over quantity. But going days without posts doesn't really help quality, either. (...) We could always make it a 'community' thing, theoretically letting all of us add things when you want. But you're right, a (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  P-38 contest update today

Re: Is it just me, or...

(...) Yeah, it's kind of quiet right now. I think people might just be busy with life. Spring is arriving in many places, and people are getting out and doing stuff outside for the first time all winter. (...) Good for them, they're having fun. This (...)   I need your help... and info!

(Note: please trim newsgroups on reply) All, As you know, I work both with you and with colleagues inside the LEGO Company.   Re: I'm back (with new MOCs)

(...) Hey Todd, The Alexandria looks very good - it is not your typical 1:5 elongated spaceship, which is very nice. It has an interesting shape, and certainly makes me believe it is a carrier. I especially like the doors that let the fighters in (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Building Technique Innovative

(...) Hey Fred - many great mocs aren't particularly innovative - like all of mine for instance ;) -- It has been my experience that we have a few builders who tend to produce less, but what they do produce is often more innovative, being that they (...)
