 | | I scored on the Dirty Brickster...
|
| I didn't realize it at the time but the 4486 SW Mini Snowspeeder/AT-ST set that I won at the Dirty Brickster at BrickFest PDX was actually a custom set! On the outside was a sticker proclaiming "BONUS! Instructions for 4 alternate models". And (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

| (...) I've used the reversed canopy before, about 8 years ago, in (URL) this MOC>. I originally got the idea from Karim Nassar, but I can't find his design. I think the engine intakes might be kinda plain in all red. My other idea was to put some (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Once again you wow us. I especially like the contrast between the red 'cladding' and the gray greebled parts. It looks as if more cladding could have been on it at one time, but it's been removed for weight reduction or speed or ease of (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

I think that the style of the B'Omar and F'Omar make up for any dullness in the A'Omar; it's a support craft after all. It's the planes that swoosh, not the aircraft (...) | (...) Hi JP. Thanks for putting up the extra pics. I knew those round black rubber things would find some use. ;-) But seriously, that's an excellent 'tug' (I know, it pushes. Does that make it an anti-tug?). It looks powerful and the smooth (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| | | | | Re: Space Bubble Car

| (...) Alas, not. The canopy hinge itself can't work when two bubble canopies are butted against each other. I experimented with a separate hinge, which failed aesthetically in that it made the Space Bubble Car too tall, and practically in that, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
