Powered by a small nuclear fusion reactor it is capable of speeds in excess of 200km/h, and the powerful suspension and extra large ballon tyres will keep soaking up even the biggest hits.

Wheels have certain advantages over hover technology that still make them a viable choice in a modern police service.
  • Range - in dollars per kilometer, the Wasteland’s range is far superior than any AG craft, and with sophisticated onboard sesory equipment, and a high cruising speed, it is at least as effective.

  • Simplicity - wheels have been used for millenia, and the fusion drive is a relatively simple and commonplace device with parts readily available galaxy-wide. AG units are still in their infancy and as such are unreliable, difficult to repair even if you can find someone qualified to do so, and hard to find parts for (“We’ll have to get the parts in. What with Einstein an ‘all they should be here in about fifteen years. Would you like me to call you when they com in?”)

  • Safety - when you crash, you don’t have as far to fall.

hey,

this thing is sweet looking... i just picked up another one of these pullback motors and was looking at the thing scratchin my head thinking “how many of these do i have to own before i’ll ever use one.” Glad to see that at least someone is. I’ve been wanting to do something with wheels, but my last attempt failed miserably.

I love how this thing look so the part for offroad. When I saw this on BS, I thought it was a 4 wheeler. And even after I got a good look, it still looks like you could take that canopy off and put some handlebars on and it would be a great technicfig scale 4 wheeler.

Also, what are those parts that the sirens are made from?

(...) Go for it. They're a hoot. I've got about 8 of the little ones. If you put skinny tyres on 'em they scoot about polished floors all over the place in a highly amusing, Keystone cops kind of way. Wee Dougal and I have a ball with them. (...) (...)
