Judging from the responses, I guess I’m probably the only person who thinks
there should be at least one more repulsor pad. Looking at the Nebbie, I see
lots of downward oriented repulsors, which suggests to me that they actually
hold the ship in the air, while the ones that face up, front, back, and to
either side are used for steering and propulsion. On the Yoshima, I see two
repulsors that face somewhat downwards, two that face horizontally, and three
that point up off the tail. Without at least one pointing down from the tail,
my instinct is to say that the tail would drop down and the pilot would be
staring at the sky. Also, I realize it probably wasn’t possible, but I think
it’d look better in dark-grey with light-grey accents. Even with the Falcon
patchwork on the lower hull, it still looks a bit too pristine.
That aside, it seems to stay very faithful to the design parameters suggested by
the Nebbie, with the slightly tadpole-ish look, all of the little spars sticking
out everywhere (does anyone actually know what they’re supposed to do?), and the
look of thick plated armor. I find the gatling gun design to be very
interesting, as if it was intended to be used solely for defensive retreats
(they don’t look like they can swing around to point forward).
And to the questions...
The ski-claw on the front looks pretty cool, but what’s it for?
What’s the crew size?
I checked on your website and I couldn’t find any other pics. I assume we’ll
see a full spread once you’ve got that little gathering out of the way?
