I actually built this model back in January, but I wanted to build the police

Hah! You actually used sprues on this? Thats hilarious. Anyways, I really
like the use of chrome accents, especially around the bumper, with one
exception. I think the pair of crossed swords is an interesting concept, but
the aesthetics of it start to fade once you notice how it was done. I think it
might have looked better with more of the chrome grilles mounted to the top and
front of some headlight bricks.
Im not hugely fond of the engine design. Even more than their privacy, rich
guys who use limos like to present an image of elegent sleekness. Rich Guy
limos really shouldnt have Car Guy engines hanging out in the open like that.
The pot thrusters are acceptable as they are the ultimate means of propulsion,
just like its okay to show the tires on a normal limo, but the exhaust would
probably be vented discreetly out of the underbelly, not prominently belched
forth from the top, and the hoses and such would probably be hidden under a
removable shell. I also have to wonder, if the main engine is entirely located
in the back, what exactly is inside that huge front end? Is it an auxiliary
engine to power the front hoverpad?
I also think another 4-6 studs of length for the passenger compartment (either
that swap the street-side hatch out for more seating) would make a certain
amount of sense, as there seems to be about as much room dedicated to the pilot
area as there is to the Rich Guy seating, and the pilot only has to worry about
sharing with one other person at most. Im also not entirely sure why there
would be an entry hatch on both sides of the vehicle.
The overall profile is pretty cool, and the cockpit design does a good job of
transitioning from the crisp edges of the front to the more rounded shapes of
the main compartment.
The escorts dont really work for me, and it took me a while to figure out why,
but I think Ive got it now. The white radar dishes on the front make it look a
bit like its supposed to be a wheeled motorcycle, though the pilot would hang a
bit too low to the ground to be able to do turns at anything buy parking speeds.
Even though its obviously supposed to be some sort of hovercycle, the look of
it suggest that its supposed to be some sort of hybrid between a car and
motorcycle (maybe the other half of the Chrysler Tomahawks soul). Maybe if
they werent resting right on the ground (maybe a couple clear 1x1 round
bricks?) itd help dispel that image.
