Hey, had a few secs so I thought I'd highlight some of the things I displayed at the Motor City Comic Con about a month ago. The pictures are from several of the members of MichLug, but these are specifically of MOCs that were mine... A few older, a (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space) !

(...) You're thinking of my Cyclops mecha. My Brickshelf account still contains all photos of MOCs from my old website. I've been a bit busy hanging out with Jon Palmer this weekend. (...) (...) Wow, nice dropship Trevor. I dig the colour scheme and the way the rear engines have a slight separateness to them that matches the VTOL nacelles. The canopy and wing choices are good too. I'm looking forward to using that blue colour. Nice (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Paul, Thanks! That, and those rear engines vector downwards during decent, so that there are four down-vector engine ports for stable VTOL. I also have a relatively large APC that fits in there like a glove. I could put about 35-40 figs (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

What I like most about all these creations is their common esthetic. They all have an innocence about them that is both a little nostalgic and very refreshings. I think it has to do with the colour scheme and the classic colour combinations. Please (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Ooh, I like. Like Gil said, you have a distinctave building style- your MOCs look sort of 'dirty' and utilitarian, built out of what is needed and nothing else. The classic-y color schemes are nice, as well, with all this gray and gray and (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Ahhh yes....most excellent. I think the legs and arms and general torso used here are very good because they can be duplicated and modified by so many less experienced mecha builders (such as myself). It really is hard to make a mech look (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
