Like I was saying before Paul, I don't know what kind of crazy brain tonic
you were guzzling during your hiatus, but if it results in art like this,
keep swigging sir!
Seriously...just beautiful.
Many of the wonderful aspects of this baby have already been talked about
(greebs, colour, engine mount etc.), so maybe I'll just say 'me too!' to
those and mention one more thing.
Surprisingly, for me what makes this a cut above is the fine sense of
balance you've acheived both generally from tip to stern and with the ratio
of exposed superstructure to plating. For instance, choosing exposed beam
to connect the tail to the engine area breaks up the heaviness of the main
beam, giving the ship a lighter, organic look. Also, by doing it this way,
the oversized tail (which is main selling point IMO) beautifully balances
the imposing line of the cockpit.
It's totally Bauhaus-cool.
