I love the trans-orange too. I wish there were more sets currently available
that I could get them in. I have a hard time coming up with ideas to use blue
with. For some reason I get a mental block with it, but it does go with the
IP2002 theme very well. White is a universal color for me. I can use it in
almost anything that I'm making.

I missed the Unitron theme. I never really had a dark age, rather more of a
"dusk age". This would have been about that time.

I don't see it happening either. To bring out copies of the Classic & BT1 sets
would immediately reduce the value of the original sets, although I'm pretty
sure that is not really what is on TLC's corporate mind. What I do see is the
possibility of TLC bringing out the essence of those sets. If they were to
incorporate the coolness from Classis Space and BT1 with newer piece
combinations, I'm sure the sets would fly off the shelves. Imagine a cross
between the Galaxy Commander and BT1 colors/style. I'd buy that.

| (...) I wish some of the cooler recent pieces came in it, like the aquazone windscreen and the large aquazone dome. As for colors it goes well with, I like it with black, with a bit of white as a highlight color -- Jonathan Wilson (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)
