Off-topic: Cars are not really dated that way. Automobiles have a model year.
October 1st is the new year for cars, which is why the 2000 models came out in
October. There are also those 2000 models that come out earlier. The
Oldsmobile Aurora has just gone on sale and it is a 2001 model, just so they
can get ahead of the game. The 2000 Kia Rio does not arrive until next month.
It all depends on the manufacturer. Obviously, Oldsmobile is gaining the most
advantage by introducing a 2001 model year car so early. By law, a car can
only be dated the year "x+1" until the year "x". The only exception to that
has been the 1995 Neon. The 1995 Neon went on sale on 30 December, 1993. Okay,
back to LEGO Space...
