construction, the Nautilus (http://theforce.net/tinman/nautilus), has a
large Star Trek-style bridge with a viewscreen, captain's chair in the
middle, and twelve other chairs and computer stations surrounding him.

I was just curious as to what other design philosophies others use in design
bridges (or maybe you don't even have a bridge!).

I actually do have a mock up bridge I built a few years ago around. It
is fairly large, it has a captains chair, two seats next to him, two
console in front, a view screen, a few lights for the various alerts, a
back row of computer panels and viewscreens, two entrances, a few side
panels that will have to explode, and a captains office. I modeled mine
heavily from Star Trek influence, however. Maybe I will take a picture
of it soon, I still have it in a box, I was waiting to do custom
stickers and the like.

The ship would be microscale, of course! :)
