It's not too bad, but it is distracting. I really do like the image- I'd
suggest leaving it alone and instead adding a dark background to the cells
with the model description and bumping up the cellspacing on the table. The
only other text you have against that background is the larger model titles,
which work fine.

Thanks! Frank Filz is another Blacktron fan and has done extensive
reworking of that set as well.
I also have another creation that I called the Intruder. It's modular in
the same way as the Invader and compatible with my version of the Invader
(most of my creations in that size range are mutually compatible). That one
isn't Blacktron, though- it's from their enemies in my universe, the Dark
Futurons.
