Re: Dark Side of the Moonbase

(...) Being a Rock Music fan myself, one (of many) detail I like with your moc is of course the 'axes' of the Rock band =) (16 years ago, 28-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Strange object discovered on Mars!!

(...) Maybe! First, before they can expand their search to other parts of Mars or Earth, Master Control will have to deploy more equipment and astronauts to possibly determine the origin of this or if there are any others like it in the solar (...) (16 years ago, 26-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Strange object discovered on Mars!!

(...) Very nice! ...One might argue this is not a "monolith" as you say, but a megalith, as it has more than one column. There's also an interesting swastika shape from overhead - though to put aside any fears of Nazism, I'd point out that symbol (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Anders: Awww, sorry to disappoint you there. That is an excellent idea though as I am a huge Floyd fan. :-) I was thinking more along the lines of dark = sinister. Dark Side of the Moonbase just happened to be a catchy play on words. Glad you (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Strange object discovered on Mars!!

A strange object was discovered on Mars by astronauts during a routine patrol on the far side of the planet. Who built it, when it was built and why all remain a mystery... Here's an overall view of the first astronauts on the scene. (URL) This is a (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Dark Side of the Moonbase

When you name it "Dark Side of the Moonbase" and suggest to turn on some music, I thought it would be Pink Floyd music, and your MOC a tribute to Rick Wright, keyboard player of the band, who recently went away (R.I.P) Anyway, a nice MOC. Can't say (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Four new MINI models from the Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica Universe

Heehee, okay, I agree, those are not among the more impressive ones and are rather simple. I hope to post more tricky stuff soon. ;-) Cheers, Chris (16 years ago, 24-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Four new MINI models from the Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica Universe

Greetings all, it's been a while since I posted something new. Some real-life issues kept me busy, including a flat movement to another city. Now it's time to come back to building. :-) While most of you might know me for building Star Wars MINI (...)   Re: Dark Side of the Moonbase

It has occured to me that between the Moonbase project, the Life on Mars and currently Mars Mission that The LEGO Group would have taken the hint and re-released the Crater baseplates from the old Space theme. -- Don (16 years ago, 21-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Dark Side of the Moonbase

Before you look at this MOC, I suggest putting on a little music. I suggest something debaucherous. Perhaps 'Girls, Girls, Girls', 'Wild Side', or 'Dr. Feelgood' by Motley Crue? I'll wait while you put that on... Still waiting... Ok, back now? Good! (...) (16 years ago, 21-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: School Buses - both hovercraft and normal

(...) Reminds me of something NASA might do ; ) Great work on both models, I slightly favour the town version (only because of my deep hatred of space erhm, I mean only because of my personal bias against futuristic progressions that retain so much (...)   School Buses - both hovercraft and normal

My latest creation is two creations in one. I'm posting this to both town and space, but if you reply and only talk about one of them please trim the newsgroups accordingly. First I created a Lunar School Bus, which is a hovercar/rocket school bus (...) (16 years ago, 15-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.space, FTX) !
