Re: BLTBC presents - "Big Green"

(...) Voolness, guys! Awesome weapon. Just wanted to say I'm very excited with this prospect. You guys have obviously put enormous work and thought into this, and it's clear that BLTBC is going to be the hottest thing around. I can't wait to see it (...)   BLTBC presents - "Big Green"

(2 URLs) BS> Hi all, Brisbane LEGO Tank Builder's Club (BLTBC) had a couple of meetings together and came up with this collaborative project. It's the Litoria Fallax also known as "Big Green". You probably wouldn't want to meet it in a darkened (...) (17 years ago, 18-Apr-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri, lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Re: The PARV

(...) Yup! That was built by Jonathan Dallas for the BrikWars game (not sure if there are any other pictures online of the bar other than the BrickShelf ones I pointed to) (...) It was just fully disassembled about two weeks ago when I moved into my (...) (17 years ago, 14-Apr-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The PARV

(...) I remember seeing the PARV at Brickfest in '05, and discussing it with you. Is that really a piano bar module added for the game? Does the PARV still exist or has it been disassembled? (17 years ago, 14-Apr-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  The PARV

Well, it's been two and half years since I built it, but seems like I'm playing catch-up recently. Anyway, the PARV! (3 URLs) DaveE (17 years ago, 14-Apr-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Re: Rollins Aeronautics RA-07

Bonjour Patrick! I like the overall shape and the striping really works great with the base color. The studlessness is also terrific, as are the forward-swept wings. My only suggestion would be removing the dark gray as I think that it is one color (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Iron Man Building Contest at Reasonably Clever

  Rollins Aeronautics RA-07

Hi there! / Boujour à tous! It's been a while since my last (and only) (URL) post>. I haven't been building for the past 6-7 months or so and was bored some afternoon so I started going through my collection. I came upon an old MOC and realized the (...)   Re: Good News, Everyone!

(...) Nixon would need a giant killer warbot body to be delicately perched atop. For my Moonbase pool module, I put Groening's head in a jar, with several owls looking directly at him. BTW, your MOC needs more owls. (...) That's actually the great (...) (17 years ago, 28-Mar-08, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Good News, Everyone!

(...) Oh yeah - scale is WAY off, here. If you ever watch the cartoon closely, you'll see that the building is actually quite big. If I were to build this 'minifig' size, it would probably be around 3 feet tall (I haven't worked out the details). (...) (17 years ago, 28-Mar-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Good News, Everyone!

(...) Well, up until now I haven't really been much of a building builder (I never know quite how to put that...). Ships and vehicles are more my thing. Also, there's not much else in New New York that's as recognizable as the P.E. Building. I might (...) (17 years ago, 28-Mar-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Good News, Everyone!

(...) I think I might eventually do a 'Nixon' head for the jar, but in the meantime I just wanted a recognizable face there. He's representing himself. :) One bad part about that jar is that if you put a standard minifig male hair piece on a head, (...) (17 years ago, 28-Mar-08, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Good News, Everyone!

(...) I've heard they've gotten quite a few questions that already! Unfortunately they took away Bender's liquor bottles to make it a 'family friendly' display. ;) (17 years ago, 28-Mar-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Good News, Everyone!

Whee! What a great MOC! So fully realized, so fun to look at from afar and right down to every last detail. Your dedication to getting each nuance just right really pays off.
