Re: The Flame and The Lance

(...) Paul, I think Lucasfilm ought to hire you to build their models. I've never liked the micro scale stuff. But you have converted me. My favorite feature is the hanger bays. Breathtaking. Is it longer than the blockade runner? John (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Flame and The Lance

HOW DARE YOU!!! Building ships of that magnitude? (...) I quote: "Oh, all they do is complaining!", offcourse this ship has to be dismantled, it's not allowed to have more LEGO bricks! : ) I love the hanger at the back, and the cute little fighters. (...)   Re: New MOC: Hover Limo with Police Escort

(...) Well done, Bram. I like the police bikes too. The only nitpicky thing I can mention is that the driver's cockpit doesn't seem to be separated from the passenger's area. Rich dudes like to have their privacy on occasion. ;) -Grand Admiral and (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Flame and The Lance

(...) Hi Paul, This is some of the best microfig work I've seen, for sure. Beautiful ships, indeed. Could you tell us what your inspiration was? (URL) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 3 new MOC's

(...) I like the cycle too. I'm a sucker for Tron lightcycles. :D Austin, your sig image is WAY too big. It could easily be 1/2 the size and we'd still be able to see it clearly. -Grand Admiral and Keeper of Fleebnorks (URL) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Hover Limo with Police Escort

(...) Mmmmm...that's nice. That's what I was trying to go for with my Orca armoured limo, but didn't turn out nearly as sleek as this. Those black arched cuves really help smooth out the lines...gives it that classic 50's swank with the daisy cutter (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Flame and The Lance

(...) Gack. Ug. Fleegb.. I....wow. To be honest, it's going to take me a long while to come back with anything on these absolutely, gorgeous creatures of the void. There is simply too much to drink in all at once. Smacking me square in the face is (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Eastern Block's New Android: IGOR-3

Well, actually, IGOR-3 and IGOR-4. Eastern Block Cosmos Directorate, Office of the Junior Marshal would like to announce the success of its IGOR program. "IGOR" stands of Inferential General Operations Robot, and was designed as a general purpose (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Flame and The Lance

(...) Absolutely astonishing. They both have good color placement, intritic detailing, and neat little micro space fighters. But the true achievement is how they almost resemble Mon Calamari battleships. I hadn't even thought it possible. Great (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Flame and The Lance

Paul, Absolutely amazing, as ever. Like all the great builders (and they know who they are), your creations serve as both an inspiration and a daunting challenge to us also-rans. God bless, Matt W. (Who now has several dozen suspicious eyes looking (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
