Re: Classic Space Pod, the Sardine

(...) Mike, I'd say this thing fits the genre of CS in terms of PODs. I like the compact design (even if only the visor has room to flip) and the grips and arms. The shape makes me think of a Gonk droid. If Gonk isn't trademarked (which I bet it (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

(...) <> (...) Scott, This base is great! I particularly like the "blackshield" design--that gold becomes very dark there. ;^) As the others have said, you have captured the shapes of a variety of ships from a variety of themes. I agree with Admiral (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  What is a Spamcake thing??????

Hi all, Simply, I just want to know. What is a SPAMCAKE????? I've been to their website, heard it many times by Grand Adrimal Muffin Head (uh....Mark Sandlin) and other space fans, but still never figured out what it is. Could any of you please (...)   Classic Space Pod, the Sardine

During the peek of the POD frenzy I built this "Classic Space" pod, but just recently bought a digital camera. It is just barely big enough for a minifig with airtanks. It was designed as a work pod. It gives the driver/wearer greater protection (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Merle

Nice stuff Matt. I'm working on new stuff myself, but am trying to overcome my 'block ship' problem. Not all that easy for me, considering I dont have much time thanks to school (which is extended now) and practicing bball so I'm ready to try out (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Ice Planet 2002!!! Err, I mean 1993!!!

Hey, I was wondering why it is called Ice Planet 2002, when the sets were made in 1993-1994... Any answers or guesses would be appreciated Matt C. (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Three times three pics of new MOCs

Wow, cool!!! Ship 2 looks like the 7190 Millennium Falcon, except much cooler! Ship 3 is my fave, very interesting design. Is that blue tube a LEGO piece? LEGO or not, it looks cool! Matt C. (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Joe, (...) The second level was really planned as a viewing area for visitors hence that similarity to the waiting area that you mentioned.   Re: "Josef" Eastern Block People's Intrastellar Fighter

Very good. I like this ship- the snubby nose works well. And the wings and big engines work well together to make this ship. Looks like a very sneaky fast craft. I like the dark red. The cockpit looks cool, too. I like the effect of the big bulbous (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Three times three pics of new MOCs

Wow, really cool. Some nice jobs there. You have very interesting ideas for you models. I like the Comet Chaser and the scout the best. The color schemes are very interesting, espically the last one. That 'ring' idea is very creative. If I could (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC Preview (feedback?)

Nicely, done. I completely agree with everyone else that the greebling is first class. I also lke the cockpit canopy design. Until now, I really haven't liked any cockpit made with the Underwater alpha team type canopy. Your's is the first. Given (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Three times three pics of new MOCs

Silvia, I'm really digging those ships. I personally like the third one the best. One can never go wrong with sand blue and grey. And the Falcon's flex tube in front- weird, but it definately works! Maybe the Grand Master can find more ships of that (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)
