Re: Moonbase Module: The Landing Pad

Thomas, You wrote: "You'll notice that my moonbase is rough and unfinished looking. I feel that a lot more detail, particularly on the inside, could have been added." While more details could have been added, the ones that you have are pretty cool. (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

just for fun... the first is the K-XT-10 "Raven" Medium Fighter: (URL) second is my first attempt at a starcraft, the 'Sakon': (URL) (at the bottom of the page) The Sakon is a really rough model, and actually kinda ugly, too.   Re: Moonbase Corridor 2.0 ?

(...) While I agree that right now, most people don't use this corridor idea in their standard, I think it's imoprtant to tell others about it and allow them the opportunity to expand the standard if they wish in their own worlds. If enough adopt (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Moonbase Module: The Landing Pad

(...) WOW!...wow! I like the use of the ball joint at the bearing point on the foot of the struts. The trusses are very industrial-strength looking. the cube door is very unique. I like the wedge ships the best, tho' Jeff (22 years ago, 22-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  New Fad?

Re: Moonbase Module: The Landing Pad

(...) That was an awfully fortuitous "DOH!", as your solution is really cool. For some reason my favorite little build detail is the little stairwell running from the flight control room (?) up to the flight deck itself. It just looks perfect. The (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Alpha Team Intel: Sea Monkey Fast Attack craft

Nifty! I like the way everything in this design just flows, one shape into another. Great use of trans-green parts, they almost look alive. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Re: Moonbase Module: The Landing Pad

Beautiful! I really dig your trusses, very industrial. And of course the cube door is utterly brilliant, as are the lifts. I agree the internal detail i a bit sparse, but the amazing exterior more than makes up for it. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
