  Re: Monthly computer updated

An awesome computer, in all its many colors. You're right, of course. They are "*really* important buttons," and not lamps. Well worth the wait. (My $0.02) Marlon 'Excelerator' Smith X_LR8R@hotmail.com "Jon Palmer" <jon@zemi.net> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: How would you move a planet?

(...) Two ideas spring to mind. 1) Wait - It'll move all by itself, although probably not where you want it. 2) Miniaturise it a la 'Fantastic Voyage' down to handy pocket size. Allister (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks. (...) When I built the engines, I was actually trying to imitate builders who have angled engines in their MOCs. So I'm glad it turned out well. (...) Well, right now most of my slopes are tied up in another MOC, which should be (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Dragon Gunship

Hey, that's cool. I like how it can fit a dragon. The whole thing looks nicely bulky, with the canopy bulging out the front. The engines made with droid arms connecting them is a cool idea. I don't really have any critisisms except to say that it (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

New MOC: Akael Me'Han Dragon Project.

Re: How would you move a planet?

Good catch! I wasn't thinking in terms of "escape velocity", I was thinking more "if Earth stops spinning, we all fly off into space". Somewhere in that I made the association Earth=star and people=planets, but the translation doesn't really work, (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
