  Re: Challenger

(...) Patricia, Ouch. I watched 'live' on TV in my dorm room at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, excited that the launch was almost like a birthday gift from NASA. I lost the excitement just after launch, and was horrified at the loss... I (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: K-wing construction pics

My Feisar anti-gravity racing craft MOC (based on the game Wipeout) had suffered greatly multiple times due to my own clumsiness. I can only imagine what my clumsiness has in store for the skyscraper I'm building. O_o (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.space)

Re: a.c.e.r. Sprite Mech: Package suites

ah yes, very sweet if you could formalize the main mech (for example, a short list of its essential features -- the howto of the cockpit, the legs, etc) and have lots of various "extras" then we could all make them too and we'd have (tada) another (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: CAD instructions for hover car

(...) instructions are excellent. The car's design is very unique. I wish more people posted intructions like these. Sometimes the construction is the most interesting part, and this is no exception! ~Kevin Blocksidge~ (URL) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: PolyTech Industries Model 2H

This a really high tech approach Tony. Took a little running back and forth in WMP, but it is a novel way to pickup the instructions. Funky little 'bot too...kinda retro. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: a.c.e.r. Sprite Mech: Package suites

Mistaken identity like that is a compliment! The barrels came out of a recent rediscovery of a mountain of Town sets (about 25 in all plus the two large pirate ships) that a buddy had given me. Used to work in a toy store...this was the window (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: PolyTech Industries Model 2H

(...) Nifty bot. "Their model 2M appears to simply be a 2H with a lingual filter that interprets "repair" and "attack" as the same word." Heh heh - sounds like something Intel would do :) Jeff J (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: a.c.e.r. Sprite Mech: Package suites

Many thanks Kyle....the attachments are fun little numbers to work on when time is too short to start a larger project. I'd like to make a few that are interchangable between a few different models....we'll see what happens! Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
