Re: more .space Crash Course ideas

(...) (cue sound of emerging lurker) Heck yeah! I'd be willing to contribute images and instructions to a project like this. (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Microfig Classic Spaceship

Today in the mail I received 2 packages. One of them was an aluminum brick keychain from Bram (Thanks!) The other was a small box of parts from Dave Johann (Thanks!) Dave put 40 1x2 trans yellow slopes in this. This is what I did with one of them: (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space) !

  Re: Grand Admiral Demoted

(...) There will be no tribunal. After the previous unfortunate incident involving my alleged demotion, a law was created preventing any further demotions. I made this permanent with the launching of Magistrate Kyle D. Jackson into deep space. Rest (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

(...) Although I would be willing to accept Classic reruns with newer helmet styles, I seem to recall trying this years ago and discovering that with certain smaller-cockpit designs, a visored helmet would actually interfere with the closing of the (...)   Re: Grand Admiral Demoted

Now, now. I think before we start demoting to Wesley Class, Banishing to the phantom zone, sending to the Spice Mines of Kessel, or whatever else there is. We should set up some sort of tribunal. A .Space Council if you will. Order must be (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

They Emerge! (was Re: My Portable Bot Factory)

K folks, here they are. A first run of 15. (URL) to 15) I apologize for the crappy pictures; I don't have any of my usual pic-taking stuff here (background, lights, etc). Better pics might come in the future. Lots of kudos to Palmer, Sandlin, and (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks John. (...) Exactly. For every theme that holds true. It's nice to see something without axes or laser blasters every now and again. (...) Yeah, I'm at my folks' house for Xmas and I don't have my picture taking setup. When I get back (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Little MOC: MiniMercury

(...) Thanks Lenny. I tried this in 6-wide for two people also, but the proportions were out of whack. Can't wait to see what you come up with tho. -Chris (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Little MOC: MiniMercury

(...) Thanks Hendo. I dunno how easy it would be to mass produce; for such a small model it's fairly parts-intensive. If someone had enough copies of the pieces in multiple colors that'd really work well for scenes. A hard top model sounds (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Little MOC: MiniMercury

That's really cool. The rockets work well here, and the dual wedges balance out each other nicely. Very nice 'spaceyfied' model. I'm a sucker for space-civilian MOCs, you can't ever have to many of them. The pictures are a little dark, however. II (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Little MOC: MiniMercury

Chris, What an excellent spacey, luxury speeder! It really captures the essence of the two kinda different themes: a luxury car and a space speeder. Personally right now I'm getting into six wide, two seater vehicles (they seem more realistic w/o (...) (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
