  Mechs! (was:Re: Feedback thoughts?)

(...) It's not as if I do not like LEGO-mechs... I do like them! Most of the Mechs done with LEGO are wonderful works of art, and I often look at them in search for ideas. Trust me, I have learned a lot about new uses for odd parts only by looking (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

Yep, here's my thoughts: I wouldn't get any of those space sets. Guess I'm just too old. I was lucky enough to be around 10 years old when the first space stuff was introduced. The only space classic I'd buy would be 928. I'd also buy it if they (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

(...) Hmm....I would much prefer Set 6970 as a "Legends". But, the question does beg to be asked: Did Lego sign away their space ships in place of the Star Wars licensing? And if so, why? It's not like the Classic Lego ships even REMOTELY resemble (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

(...) Why is a re-mold for this one little part such a big deal, considering how many new parts are in every single Galidor set? I know molds are expensive, but if all it took was ONE LOUSY MOLD, is it really a melodrama to do so? (snip) >(I still (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Space legends, my thoughts...

Lets face some facts: 1.we cant get classic space helmets and 2.TLC/LD isnt going to be dumb enough to do classic space with new figs and/or new-type helments (it would look ugly, I tried to put some futuron figs in my Walking Astro Grappeler and it (...)   Re: Image for #6711 Mini-Figure pack

(...) Make room on the funeral pyre, Paul, I agree with you. The classic space fig is great for nostalgia, but I much prefer the Futuron style fig, with the two-tone torso and visored helm. I'd buy dozens of the 6703 if they were available. Okay, (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

It's maddeningly cool looking, and insanely good shape. Got it from a 1593 MISB owner. I will leave his name veiled in mystery! Hi, Snagged a #6711 recently and scanned it. Since everyone's having trouble contacting database curators lately (myself included), I figured I'd just post it in Lugnet and hope for the best. (URL) (jot and jab) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.space)
