Hi, do any of you think that you can program the scout in legOS?
My NQC is not working it says "could not open serial port" and it aborts
the
download so legOS would mabe work.

"could not open serial port" generally means one of these things:

1) You told NQC to use a serial port that doesn't exist.  By default, it
will try to use
  Mac - modem port
  Win - COM1
  Unix - /dev/ttyS0

You can override this with a -S option.

2) Under Linux (and other flavors of Unix), /dev/ttyS0 is often
protected so that only root can access it.  If this is the case then you
either need to change the permissions on /dev/ttyS0, or always run as
root.

3) Something else is already using the serial port.  Palm's HotSync
software is sometimes the culprit, but there can be others.
