(...) If you're using a custom motor driver in pbForth, why use the inverter circuit at all? Why not just generate the desired waveform directly? A few days ago I announced that I had developed a nice little circuit using easily available parts that would let you connect servos to the RCX - with no external batteries or microprocessors or anything! Hi all, I've finally got my RCX servo driver circuit working. It was actually working months ago but I couldn't get the servo to stop jittering. (...) Ummmm, I think if you use NQC command line, the counter only goes to 1300 or so. I wonder 1f RCXCC is reading the SRECORD file and padding it to 16384 bytes. (...) Yep - I did, same deal. Three times in a row, pbforth.srec uploaded fine all the way until the display read 1638 (which I presume is the end of the file) and then it cut out. Running Windows98. All works well with original RCX firmware and NCQ programs. Was anxious to try out pbFORTH as an alternative!! Unzipped pbforth111.zip and used RCX Command Center to download pbForth.srec. Progress window looked good UNTIL the (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)
