This is my dilemma: I work for an organization that encourages schools to teach engineering through the RIS using NQC. hi John, Also version 3.3.3.7 is becoming very slow sometimes. But now I've another problem: how do I get my toolbuttons back in normal setting. I'm just using 3.3.3.5 "tools" works great, but .... there's a very strange problem, which is not good reproducable: sometimes Bricxcc gets very-very slow (Win98 SE, Pentium (...) Does anyone have the following: 1. A serial Mindstorms IR tower; 2. A Mac running MacOS X; 3. A serial port or adaptor with MacOS X drivers? I've just uploaded a new release of BricxCC. Version 3.3.3.7 completes the implementation of the configurable Tools feature. Transfer item parameter macros are now functional. Sorry for the quick updates, but Robot Controller 1.4b2 is now available! This adds the ability to control several motors simultaneously in AppleScript. I have also posted an example AppleScript Studio project which uses Robot Controller to drive a (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

The lego camera will not work with imovie, I'm afraid. Imovie only works with DVcameras, not with webcams. I think the lego camera is actually one of the logitech cameras inside, so there may be a MacOS 9 driver, but not a MacOS X driver. I don't (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Hi Matt VideoScript is a seperate program (not written by me!), available from: (URL) uses any QuickTime compatible video device, and allows you to run AppleScript commands depending on what is seen on the video. Version 1.4b1 of Robot Controller is now available, with full AppleScript support. Inputs, outputs, program slots, datalog, variables and messages can all be controlled from scripts.
