  Varying the output voltage?

I was wondering if it was possible to control the speed/torque of the motor by varying the output voltage in brickOS. It seems that the speed parameter on the motors only changes the rate at which they pulse on and off. I am looking for something (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

problems with creating arrays of larger sizes

Hello, at the moment I try to get experience with the memory of the RCX. I've read somewhere that the brickOS firmware is about 8kB big. I loaded a program with a size of 2 kb down to the RCX. With the help of the program I created an array of the (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Patch 10: This works for me under Cygwin with a USB tower, but some of the files such as rcx_comm.c have a bit of platform-specific code. Patch 11: I've noticed that the linker command file is a little different in Bibo than it was in BrickOS. If (...) (15 years ago, 21-Apr-09, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Carlos, Last time I checked you were unable to compile the kernel using winLegOS or DJGPP. For those not familiar with the inner workings on winLegos it is essentially a pre-built Hitachi cross-compiler with several gnu utilities running under (...)   How does?

Hi, How does the lnp_integrity_byte function ever get invoked? I see it defined in kernel/lnp.c, and I see it referenced in boot/brickOS.lvs. Is there some magic to the number 0x9419 (0x8000+0x1414)?
