		USB2 and IR-Tower problem
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone here had experienced any problems using the IR-tower on a USB2 port? My university has just upgraded 20 of the pc's used for the Lego, the previous setup worked fine and the tower was attached to just a normal USB (...) Proximity detections in ROBOLAB? It is possible to use the IR port on the RCX for proximity detection in NQC but I can'y find a way to do the same in ROBOLAB - is there anyone that has done that? I've used the RCX with standard LEGO firmware, though I'm not familiar with the Swan firmware. Having said that, this simply sounds like the old message is not getting cleared to make room for the new message. Have you tried calling the (...) (6 years ago, 18-Jun-18, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Just to verify the verdict... yes, it did work with w2kpro installed on this laptop. One note is that w2k vanilla does not support wireless 802.1g device, which is what comes with this toshiba satellite p25. Nathan, I have done this trouble shooting step, ie. changing the timing. Unfortunately, it did not work. But, thank you though. Well, the a W2Kpro virtual machine approach did not work either...
